Guidelines for Visitors and Companions and Required Rules
Welcome to LÖSANTE.
As a huge family that is wrapped tightly together; the health of our patients and their treatment cannot be overcome only if the operation of the hospital is carried out in discipline. We share this information with you in order to maintain accurate information, to ensure safety, and to protect our patients from infections caused by visitors and companions.
Visiting Hours

- Monday: 14:00 – 18:00
- Wednesday: 14:00 – 18:00
- Saturday: 10:00 – 12:00
5th floor Children Leukemia and 6th floor Adult Oncology Services
Other Services
(Internal Medicine – Surgery – Obstetrics and Gynecology – Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation – Ophthalmology – ENT and others)
- Two visitors are allowed for 15 minutes each on weekdays between 14:00 – 17:00 and on weekends between 13:00 – 16:00.
Guidelines for Visitors and Companions
- Visitation of children under 12 to our hospital is limited to very specific circumstances and is subject to physician’s approval.
Exceptions
- Birth of siblings
- Parent/guardian is sick
- Sibling is sick
- Only one companion may be present for each patient. This is highly significant for the health of the patient. In special cases (such as delivery patients etc.) 2 companions can be admitted at the same time.
- Companions are responsible for the entire visitor rules. In critical areas companions are allowed by the unit’s nature and with the approval of the physician.
- Acceptance of the bags and belongings of patients’ relatives, visitors and companions are under the control of “Security Services”. Controls necessary for not bringing food to floors are provided by security guards at the entrance, by patient guides in the units and by nurses in the patient’s room.
- Companions should be at least 18 years old. People under 18 cannot stay with the patient as a companion. Mandatory cases require approval of the chief physician.
- No visitors are accepted for the bone marrow transplant unit.
- As a general principle, no visitors are accepted to intensive care. However, visitors may be admitted for a limited period of time with the physician’s approval and within the knowledge of the ICU nurse.
- Acceptance of visitors for patients receiving isolation is made with the physician’s approval and within the knowledge of the responsible nurse.
- Day patients who have been diagnosed and treated at the Interventional Treatment Centre and Radiology Centre can accept visitors for a short period of time under the control of their post-treatment nurse.
- In judicial cases, the physician may apply visitor restrictions when necessary.
- Because of the infection and safety risks they can carry into the patient’s room, flowers, food and beverages are not accepted. Visitors can eat and drink from the hospital cafeteria.
- The flowers brought by the visitors are kept at the “Reception and Orientation Bank” with the “Flower Card”.
- It is strongly recommended to wash hands / use hand antiseptics before entering and after leaving the patient’s room.
- Use the seats to sit during the visit. For the health of your patient, avoid sitting and lying down on the patient’s bed.
- Do not speak loudly during the visit. Please respect the privacy of your and other patients.
- Comply with the emergency warning systems in the hospital and the instructions given in case of an emergency. It is important for your health and safety.
- During the period you stay in our hospital, you are obliged to declare the incidents you face. We are not responsible for the incidents you do not declare.
- Smoking is prohibited in health institutions. Please do not smoke for your health.

The personal data you share with us is stored for the period required by the purpose of processing, without prejudice to the periods stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and other applicable legislation.
