Who is Gökcan OKUR?
Dr. Gökcan Okur, MD is a specialist in diagnostic radiology with more than twenty years of clinical experience in advanced medical imaging. His professional practice focuses on cross-sectional imaging techniques, particularly computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), supporting accurate diagnosis and multidisciplinary treatment planning.
His clinical expertise includes musculoskeletal radiology, neuroradiology, and spinal imaging. He has extensive experience in the evaluation of degenerative, traumatic, and inflammatory spinal pathologies as well as advanced neuroimaging techniques used in stroke diagnosis and diffusion-based MRI analysis.
In recent years, Dr. Okur has been actively involved in integrating artificial intelligence into radiology workflows. His research and clinical interests include AI-based imaging analysis for pulmonary fibrosis and interstitial lung diseases, as well as machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) applications in medical imaging.
